The noise stays outside.
In here, time slows down.

A few steps from Acireale's Cathedral, Via Monsignor Genuardi 32 opens onto a courtyard guests call «a little oasis of peace». Elena and Giuseppe have cared for it since 2010, together with the palazzo's six rooms.

The 19th-century courtyard is the heart of the house: stone floors, lime-washed walls and trees heavy with fruit. Breakfast happens here in the morning, books are read here in the afternoon, and everyone gathers for a glass of wine in the evening.
